Preveč potovanja? ~ Too much travelling?

Pri načrtovanju mojega potovanja v Dominikansko Republiko sem bila prepričana, da bo moj novi naslov in vsebina bloga nekaj takega:

*5 stvari, ki jih je treba narediti, ko se vrneš v raj*
– ležanje na plaži
– spanje
– uživanje dobre hrane
– meditiranje
– branje knjige kjerkoli

Moja izkušnja ni bilo niti blizu tega. 😊  Imela sem le nekaj dni, ko nisem bila dosti aktivna. In to se mi pozna. Priznati moram, da sem utrujena. Nekega večera sem bil tako utrujena, da nisem mogla niti razmišljati ali govoriti več. Ali obstaja kaj takega kot preveč potovanja za ljudi, ki jemljejo nadomestilo ščitničnih hormonov? Verjetno da, toda z dobrim načrtovanjem prave mere počitka in aktivnosti je vse mogoče.

V takšnih trenutkih izčrpanosti spoznavam znova in znova, kako resnično je, da se počasi daleč pride in si moram vzet čas zase.

V kratkem času doživljam veliko novih stvari, kar je prehitra sprememba za moje telo. Veliko sem potovala v preteklosti, vendar ne dolga obdobja v enem kosu. Pogosto sem nekje živela in raziskovala ob vikendih. Zdaj potujem 5 tednov (Dominikanska Republika, Portoriko, Kuba). Resnično se moram bolj zadrževati konstantne aktivnosti ali se znebiti »strahu pred nedoživljanjem«. Delam na tem a je težko, če si navajen “letat okoli”. Morda moram res bolj resno vzeti svoje nasvete iz prejšnjih objav in ležati na plaži več 🙂

Uravnotežena hrana je trenutno pomembna, zato vsakodnevno jem svežo domačo hrano. Tudi vnos vitaminov/mineralov mora biti višji kot ponavadi, še posebno zaradi potenja. Poleg tega moram dovolj spati in potem bom spet pripravljena za nove izzive.😊

When planning my trip to the Dominican Republic I was sure my new blog title and content will be something like this:

*5 things to do when returning to paradise*
  • lie on the beach
  • sleep
  • eating good food
  • meditate
  • read a book wherever you want

My experience was not even close to this 😊 Had only a few days when I was really not doing much. And that took a toll on me. I must admit, I’m tired. One evening I was so tired I could not even think or talk anymore. Is there anything like too much travelling for people on Thyroid treatment medication? Probably yes, but with good planning of rest and activities time all is possible.

In moments of exhaustion like this, I realise again and again how important it’s for me to take it easy.

I experience many new things in a short time what is a big and quick change for my body. I did travel a lot in the past but not long stretches of time and I often lived somewhere and then go around for weekends. Now I am travelling for 5 weeks (DR, PR, Cuba).  I really need to hold myself back more or get rid of the fear of missing out. I’m working on that part.

Maybe I really need to take more seriously my own advice from previous posts and lie on the beach more 🙂

Balanced food is important right now so trying to eat fresh local food every day. Also, vitamins/minerals intake needs to be higher especially because of sweating. Apart from that, I need to sleep enough and I’m good to go again 😊
